Covering only 1/4 of hectare, the unique soil and different orientation give a very special profile that deserves to be separated from the rest of Viña de los Pinos. Due to that triangular shape of the plot, as much as we could look for another surname for this Cantariña 3 wine, there was no real alternative option than using the only name we have ever called it by.
A very special wine, with a potential long ageing capacity… and unfortunately very scarce. A true triangle of forces.

Tasting Notes El Triángulo 2021
Tim Atkin 94 points:
“It is a very honest and frank interpretation of the vineyard with sweet red cherry fruit and rose petal. It spends around 12 months in used 500L French oak and tannins are a little tacky, bringing some structure and grunt to this otherwise very fine, elegant red”.
